בהתאם לתקנות הגנת השכר מיום 26.7.17, במידה והעובד הסכים בכתב לא לקבל את תלוש השכר מודפס, המעסיק רשאי למסור לעובד את התלוש בין היתר דרך האינטרנט באתר מאובטח.
המעסיק צריך לקבל פידבק תוך 5 ימים כי אכן התלוש הגיע לעובד, אחרת ימסור לעובד תלוש מודפס תוך 5 ימים נוספים.
כזכור, מעסיק מחויב במסירת תלוש לעובד וחשוף בגין הפרת הוראה זו . על כן, ישלח לעובד הודעת מערכת כי התלוש זמין לצפיה באתר האינטרנט המאובטח בכפוף לקיום הוראות התקנות והתנאים הבאים:
1 .המעסיק קיבל את הסכמתו של העובד שניתנה בדרך דיגיטלית באתר האינטרנט המאובטח (טופס הסכמה דיגיטלי), לקבלת התלוש דרך אתר האינטרנט המאובטח ובאפשרות לצפות בתלוש השכר ולהדפיסו. יובהר כי לכל עובד עומדת הזכות להודיע על חזרה מהסכמה לצפייה בתלוש השכר באתר המאובטח, וזאת באמצעות הגשת בקשה בכתב, ועל המעסיק חובה ליידע את העובד בכך.
2 . במידה ויש תקלה טכנית מתמשכת של 24 שעות ומעלה שלא מאפשרת את פתיחת התלוש באתר, המערכת מתריעה על כך ונשלח לעובד קישור לפתיחה מחודשת בתוך חמישה ימים מה-9 לחודש (יום הקובע למסירת התלוש) והמעסיק וידא כי אין מניעה טכנית לצפות בתלוש.

3 .במקרה שנשלחה לעובד הודעה מהמערכת כי התלוש מוכן לצפייה והעובד אינו יכול להיכנס לאתר ולהזדהות בנסיבות בהן שכח את הסיסמא שהונפקה לו או מכל סיבה אחרת, המעסיק אפשר פתרון טכני לצפות בתלוש השכר ולהדפיסו תוך חמישה ימים מה-9 לחודש (יום הקובע למסירת התלוש).
